Mia (Team Monty) completed her 2023 K9AA Handler course and was awarded the prestigious title of K9AA ‘Handler of Merit’ for 2023.
Mia with her K9 counterpart work in a well-being role in a school in a therapeutic and pastoral support role. After completing her K9AA Handler certification in 2023, Mia with K9 Monty are now progressing through the K9AA Animal-Assisted Services: Walk the Walk (Team Certification) process for the dual-role for K9 Monty as Mia’s Assistance Animal with full Public Access rights with trained Disability Mitigating Tasks.
